Kristen created her “Living Legacy Fund for Research” shortly before she passed in December 2019 as a way for her advocacy efforts to continue, even after her death. Kristen knew first-hand the importance of research so that women like her might live longer lives. In her honour, Kristen's big sister Elsa continues to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research.
